The first in-person WG1 “Work and Organizational Practices for a Multi-Age Workforce” meeting was held in Tirana, Albania, in May 16-17, 2024. This milestone event brought together twelve participants from nine countries!
The meeting started with an engaging session of scholarly speed dating, offering participants a unique opportunity to get to know each other and share insights. Several members pitched their research projects on which WG1 members could collaborate.
Participants delved deeply into the proposed research projects, examining their potential impact and exploring avenues for collaboration. New partnerships emerged, clear expectations were established, and actionable next steps for WG1 were established. A significant portion of discussions was dedicated to defining the deliverables of WG1, ensuring that efforts are closely aligned with the overarching goals of CA22120.
In addition to group activities, WG1 members also explored potential bilateral projects, paving the way for more focused collaborations among members.
