1st Training School in Lisbon

Our first-ever Training School for Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs) successfully took place on 20–21 March 2025 at the School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon, Portugal.

This enriching two-day event brought together 18 trainees and 3 trainers, representing a vibrant community from 13 different countries.

The outstanding trainers – Prof. Susanne Scheibe, Prof. Cort W. Rudolph, and Prof. Peter Bamberger – generously shared their expertise, guidance, and enthusiasm throughout the event. Special thanks also go to Prof. Tammy Allen, whose valuable materials were seamlessly delivered by colleagues despite her inability to attend in person.

Beyond the lectures and workshops, participants enjoyed meaningful networking opportunities, and new collaborations are already beginning to emerge!

We look forward to seeing how far these YRIs will go together!
