Bio: Mariia Balytska is an early-career researcher and innovator who has accumulated over 5 years of experience in teaching and research. She is an Assistant Professor at the Insurance, Banking and Risk-Management Department at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In addition to teaching, she also performs the duties of a Deputy Head of the Department, responsible for academic work. In 2020, she received her PhD. After defending her thesis, she focused her scientific research on digitization, households` well-being, financial literacy, and aging. She aims to show that digital transformation leads, despite a lot of benefits, to additional barriers, discrimination, and societal imbalance.
Mariia takes an active part in international projects. In particular, she is a member of the working group CA 21107 (Work inequalities in later life redefined by digitalization) and CA 22120 (European Network to Leverage the Multi-Age Workforce). Within CA 21107, Mariia took part in the Training School (TS) ""Knowledge synthesis and systematic literature reviews"" and TS “Methods for conducting media and policy analyses”.
Which goals Mariia wants to achieve for the CA 22120 LeverAge:
•as CA 22120 WG member - cross-border collaborations & grant proposals;
•as ITC Coordinator - full engagement by researchers from ITC countries.
