Bio: Andreas Hirschi, PhD, is a full professor and chair of the department of Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Bern, Switzerland. He obtained his PhD from the University of Zurich and a post-master degree as Master of Advanced Studies in Psychology of Career Counseling and Human Resources Management from the Universities of Zurich, Berne, and Fribourg, Switzerland. He previously worked at the Pennsylvania State University, USA, the Leuphana University of Lueneburg, Germany, and at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. His major research interests are career development, career counseling, and the work-nonwork interface.
