Bio: Donald M. Truxillo is a Professor at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, Ireland and Professor Emeritus at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, USA He studies age differences at work, the applicant experience, and workplace safety and health. In the arena of age in the workplace, his current research is on work ability and self-perceptions of aging. He has coauthored two textbooks, Psychology and Work: Introduction to Industrial and Organizational Psychology (2021; Routledge) and Human Resource Management: People, Data, and Analytics (2nd ed., 2025; Sage). His research has been supported by the SHRM Foundation, NIOSH, and NSF. He has received three Fulbright grants. He is a fellow of SIOP, APA, APS, and IAAP.
