Bio: Bryndis Steindorsdottir is an associate professor at the department of Theology and Social sciences at VID Specialized University in Norway. She is Icelandic by nationality and has been living in Norway for over 10 years. She holds a PhD degree in business and economics from BI Norwegian Business school with a specialization in leadership and organization. Her research interest lies within the area of lifespan development, human resource management and organizational behavior. Her research mainly focuses on career development across the lifespan. For example, how individuals at different ages respond to support, obstacles, and opportunities in their career. In addition, she has particular interest in longitudinal studies and studying changes across time. She has experience in teaching students at various levels, including master and executive students.
