Bio: Susana Schmitz holds a PhD in Social and Organizational Psychology from ISCTE–IUL (2025) in Lisbon, and an international master’s degree in Work, Organizational, and Human Resources Psychology (WOP-P) from the University of Coimbra and the University of Valencia. She is a Professor at Universidade Europeia and a Visiting Professor at the Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics. Her research area focuses on ageism in the workplace. She has co-authored books, book chapters and articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals (i.e., Work, Aging, and Retirement).
