Bio: I am an Associate Professor of Organizational Psychology at the University of Groningen. My work focuses on the occupational behavior and well-being of employees and entrepreneurs. My goal is to better understand how the experiences and behaviors of employees and entrepreneurs affect their well-being, how these individuals cope with the changing demands of their jobs and negative events at work, how their strategies for coping affect their well-being, and how individual strategies vary with differences in personal characteristics (such as age). Furthermore, I am interested in research on successful aging, and, specifically, how the engagement of entrepreneurial behavior can promote successful aging (in particular, in entrepreneurs), and how successful aging can be stimulated through work.
